For nature lovers there are many wild birds resident house martins and bats visiting deer in our paddock along with the cast from watership down! We have it all. Capland Farm is an early 19th century farmhouse set within the beautiful Somerset countryside. The accommodation also provides extensive views to the Blackdown Hills. We are conveniently located just 5 minutes from the A303 and the lovely market town of Ilminster. The M5 (J25) and Taunton are a mere 15 minutes away this makes Capland Farm an ideal stop-over for those heading further south or west. With ample parking we can offer a restful break to break your journey with caravan or camper van. Our bed and breakfast is a convenient base for exploring Somerset and the nearby Jurassic coast including Lyme Regis Charmouth Sidmouth Beer Seaton and Exmouth. The two large en-suite bandb guest rooms have tea and coffee making facilities televisions and free wifi. Guests have use of the gardens paddock and if motor cycling cycling or walking areas to store and dry kit. Breakfast consists of fruit cereals yogurt full English using local produce and our own eggs which we invite visiting children to collect!Capland Farmhouse is a Grade II listed Blue Lias stone building built around 1810.It retains most of its original features including an interesting old wash house with original copper once used for heating the water.It also has a walled garden formerly the kitchen garden but now provides a place to relax. Our two acre paddock also provides an area to stroll sit and chill watching the chickens.The farmhouse makes for a quiet comfortable and relaxing place to stay whether for a business stay or holiday.

We are situated half way along the A358 between J25 of the M5 (Taunton) and the A303 Ilminster. We are in Capland Lane which is sign-posted on the A358 as Capland.
