Set in an outstanding position above its own terraced gardens the Glenburn enjoys a superb panorama across the waters of Rothesay Bay to the Cowal Peninsula. With a wealth of outdoor pursuits on the isle from fishing to bowling and from golf to walking it's up to you how you choose to relax at the Glenburn Hotel socialise in the bar escape to the quiet lounge indulge in a game of snooker or just enjoy the evening entertainment. The town's shops harbour medieval castle ruins and sporting facilities are just a pleasant walk away along the palm fringed promenade. The Glenburn Hotel contains some guest parking which is located at the front and side of the building.The hotel's car park which has limited space is located at the frontside of the building.

FROM THE SOUTH: From the A8 turn left to join the A78 (High Street). This road leads to the Wymyss Bay Ferry Terminal where a ferry run by Caledonian Macbrayne runs on a regular basis (less frequent during the evening). The journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once on the island turn left on exit from the Ferry Terminal to join Argyle Street and Mount Stuart Road where the hotel is located on the right hand side reachable via Glenburn Road.FROM THE NORTH: From the A815 follow signs for Dunoon turn right to join the A886 following signs for Tignabruaich Colintraive. At the Colintraive Ferry Terminal there is a non-bookable service operated by Caledonian Macbrayne which will take you to Rhubodach on the Isle of Bute (journey time approximately 5 minutes). Once on the Island turn left to join the A886. As you reach Rothesay join the A844 (Marine Road) as far as Mount Stuart Road where the hotel is located on the right hand side reachable via Glenburn Road.
