The Hideaway at Windermere is a beautiful Victorian Lakeland home surrounded by peace yet in the heart of it all offers a welcome with warmth and a whole lot more than a place to stay... Our aim is simple.... to provide restful rooms and exceptional service. Our approach is even simpler ... Relaxed and welcoming with a true passion to spoil and indulge an intimate charm no large hotel can match luxurious yet affordable without stuffiness with great attention to detail ... and always with a lot of care.PLEASE NOTE CHECK IN IS BETWEEN 15:00 and 19:00. CHECK IN AFTER 19:00 MUSTBE AGREED BY PRIOR ARRANGEMENT. Guests are provided with a front door key for access during the evening.
Hotel directions :
Leave the M6 at Junction 36 and follow signs for Windermere (dual carriageway most of the way). As you enter Windermere you will pass the Windermere Hotel on the right (raised on the hill side). Do not turn left in to Windermere Village but continue on the main road passing the NatWest Bank and a row of shops on your left. Pass the next turning on your left (Elleray Road) and take the next exit on the left which is Phoenix Way. The Hideaway is on the right hand side.
