All of the 22 bedrooms have been individually designed many by the Duchess of Roxburghe herself. Some have four-poster beds and log fires. All have a unique and charming character.



Hotel directions :
From the North travelling from Edinburgh Take the City South Bypass (A720) to the Sherrif Hall round-about at Dalkeith. Follow the A68 to Jedburgh. One mile before you reach Jedburgh turn left onto the A698 signposted to Kelso for 7 miles. Just as you approach to the village of Heiton you will see signage for the hotel on your left.From the South travelling from NewcastleTake the A1 out of Newcastle heading north. At the junction signposted Jedburgh take the A68 North. Approximately one mile past Jedburgh on the A68 turn right on the A698 signposted to Kelso for 7 miles. Just as you come to the village of Heiton you will see signage for the hotel on your left.From Kelso Town CentreFrom the town square take the road south to the old stone bridge over the River Tweed and continue along this road veering to the left at the JET petrol station until the T junction at the new bypass. Turn right onto the A698. Follow the road for 3 miles. Once you go through the village of Heiton you will see signage for the hotel on your right.From Berwick-upon-Tweed Rail StationFollow one way road out of train station and turn right at T junction to centre of town. Turn right at second round about over bridge. Turn right at round about at end of the bridge taking road to Edinburgh. Follow until main round about and take exit to Coldstream. Follow signs to Coldstream passing through Cornhill. From Coldstream follow signs to Kelso.
