Welcome to the Royal Oak . The Royal Oak is a family run Venue situated in one of Durham's hidden Valleys offering fantastic panorama venues and walks. We have a full selection of real ales beers lagers ciders and wines. We also offer a 32 seat Restaurant serving traditional home cooked pub food and snacks.The whole of the inn has free WI FI and we are a pet friendly hotel. The hotel is situated on the doorstep to the Durham dales and is within easy reach of Durham city Beamish Museum Hall Hill farm Digger land and many other delights County Durham has to offer.

We are situated on the b6301 in between lanchester and tow law and esh winning. we are just off the A68Turn right in tow law if travelling north and follow the road we are the first village you arrive at. If travelling from durham take the A691 to consettFollow road when arriving at langly park turn into village Follow road to quebec go through village to crossroads turn left follow road we are at the bottom of the bank on left.if travelling from Consett take A691 when arriving at lanchester turn right travell through village for 400 metresthen turn left on B6301 follow road to cornsay colliery we are on the left
