Tawelfa Guest House is conveniently situated a short walk from the centre of the picturesque seaside and harbour town of Barmouth where the mountains meet the sea. Barmouth has an award winning Blue Flag beach with captivating views of the stunning Mawddach Estuary. On the edge of Snowdonia National Park with rail and bus links close by Tawelfa is an ideal base to explore the beautiful rugged coastline of Cardigan Bay. We have bookable guided walks half and full day car tours and a wealth of information on the many varied things to see and do.You can be assured of a warm welcome at Tawelfa. Guests are invited to relax in the lounge with complimentary tea or coffee and homemade Welsh Cakes or Bara Brith on arrival. You are offered quality accommodation at our tastefully renovated family home with good food served in our well appointed dining room. Evening meals are served from 6pm to 8.30pm Special diets are catered for and vegetarian options are always available. Sample menus are available on request by email or post.Our aim:- To offer guests a holiday home away from home. Guest rooms are decorated to a high standard with teacoffeemaking facilities flat screen tv and all have a full en-suite bath or shower room with complimentary toiletries. Our guest lounge is bright and comfortable with a large flat screen television and books to borrow. Travelling from the direction of Dolgellau exiting Barmouth on the one way system and heading north towards Harlech we are situated approximately 500 yards outside the town centre on the right hand side next to Saint Tudwal's Church.Travelling south from the direction of Harlech and having past the Welcome to Barmouth sign we are situated on the left hand side approximately 500 yards before reaching the town centre the last house before reaching Saint Tudwal's Church.
