Also the new £30 million National Maritime Museum in Falmouth is a short foot ferry ride from nearby St Mawes. The National Trust gardens and houses throughout Cornwall are a must see as is the surprising Tate Gallery at St Ives. Take the A3078 St Mawes road. Turn left at Jet garage to VeryanIn Veryan turn left at the New Inn. Go past Post Office on your right straight accross crossroads and continue straight on for 12 mile and you have arrived.
