Gwynne House is a small family run bed and breakfast located in the historic town of Stamford Lincolnshire. At Gwynne House we have over 10 years of experience providing accommodation and ensuring that all our guests feel at home. The house has over the years been modernized and extended in keeping its character and today provides accommodation (given a 3 Star rating by the Visit Britain Tourist Board) for 6 guests in three tastefully decorated bedrooms.We are within 6 minutes walk of the beautiful town centre of Stamford and about 15 minutes from Stamford train station allowing you easy access to all amenities while spending a good night sleep in a quite part of the town.All guest rooms have been recently renovated and re-furnished to make your stay at Gwynne House more comfortable. The rooms have quality modern sliding sash or German turn-and-tilt double glazed windows and lined curtains. The en-suite double room looks out onto the garden.. The twinsuper-king double room looks out onto the front garden. All rooms have central heating with individual thermostat control. Tea and coffee-making facilities are provided in each room.After spending a good night at Gwynne House you can choose from our first class Full English Breakfast or go for something little lighter Continental. Vegetarian breakfast available but please let us know in advance. Toast coffee and tea are unlimited.Guests with laptops will benefit from our complementary Wi-Fi access in all guest rooms and the garden. Staying at our bed and breakfast you will be assured of a very friendly and warm welcome. We will do our utmost to ensure that your stay with us is a memorable one. From Spalding (A16)Drive past VW garage on the left. See mini roundabout. Take 2nd left (Uffington Road) carry on to next mini roundabout and take 2nd left. Drive to set of traffic lights. At traffic lights turn right. Continue until you see a pub on your left (The Dolphin). Just past The Dolphin take right turn up Recreation Ground Road -- drive up to the top of the road and over the cross road. You are now in Kings road. 200 yards on right hand side is Gwynne House last house at end of terrace.From North A1Take road to Stamford and Casterton (B1081). Drive into Stamford until you get to a set of traffic lights. Turn left into North Street . Continue until you come to a zebra crossing. Just after zebra crossing is a road on the left - Recreation Ground Road -- drive up to the top of the road and over the cross road. You are now in Kings road. 200 yards on right hand side is Gwynne House the last house at end of terrace.Form South A1 (London)Past the George hotel on your left. Over the bridge and continue up hill follow road through town until you come to set of traffic lights Turn right into North Street. Continue until you come to a zebra crossing. Just after zebra crossing is a road on the left - Recreation Ground Road -- drive up to the top of the road and over the cross road.
