Hotel directions :
From South - enter Ambleside on the A591 travelling straight ahead at the traffic lights. Continue for 1 mile passing Hayes Garden World on your left. When you see the BP petrol station bear left onto Wansfell Road and then get into the right hand lane as you go down the hill. Follow the road as it bears right towards the centre of the village - The Rothay Garth is the 3rd building on the right!From North - enter Ambleside on the A591 travelling straight ahead at the mini roundabout continuing though the village passing The Salutation on your left and The White Lion also on your left. Get into the right hand lane as you pass Adventure Peaks on the right hand side. At the BP petrol station turn right onto Wansfell Road and stay in the right hand lane as you go down the hill. Follow the road as it bears right towards the centre of the village - The Rothay Garth is the 3rd building on the right!

This wonderful house in Cornwall is a fantastic and unique self catering property. You can walk down to your own cove or along the coastal path to many more beaches and retreats.The accommodation consists of a spacious fully equipped kitchen merging into a dining area with a 'banquet size' table. There is a great wood burner in the beamed and expansive drawing room (photo header above) and another in the galleried hallway. Minstrels are an extra but you do have the decorative old church organ on the landing!Upstairs there are 4 bedrooms a king double and 2 twins. 3 enjoy beautiful views down the garden and valley to the sea. 2 have hand basins. There is a large shower room (2 basins) with WC. Downstairs there is a small twin bedroom. This room is suitable for an elderly or disabled person who can not manage the stairs - next to this bedroom is a large bathroom. There is an additional WC downstairs.
