Pollock Halls offers 2 accommodation in Edinburgh to suit every budget and purpose whether you're coming to the city on holiday for business or as part of a group visit.Pollock Halls is seasonal campus accommodation located at the foot of Holyrood Park and offers affordable bed and breakfast accommodation over the University's summer vacation with over 2000 rooms available. There is a vast range of room-types including single standard (with shared bathroom facilities) single en-suite and twin en-suite rooms.Chancellor's Court offers over 500 modern rooms and has been awarded 3 campus accommodation. Each single and twin en-suite room has a Freeview TV telephone chargeable internet access teacoffee-making facilities.John Burnett House is the latest addition to Pollock Halls. Each of the single and twin en-suite bedrooms has a Freeview TV telephone chargeable internet access safety deposit box teacoffee-making facilities.The simple single standard rooms provide affordable accommodation ideal for those on a strict budget. Each room has a telephone internet access and teacoffee-making facilities.Shared pantry facilities in each building include toaster microwave fridge ironing board and iron and fridge hairdryers are available at the main reception centre. Shared laundry facilities are also available in some buildings.Full Scottish breakfast is included in the price and is served in the John McIntyre Centre in the heart of the private campus grounds. Light meals can also be taken in the bar and there is an on-site shop and ATM available for use by all guests.FREE cabled internet access is available in all bedrooms and wireless internet access is available in some public areas.Free car parking is available on a first come first served basis only unfortunately spaces are limited and we simply cannot guarantee they will always be available. Guests will benefit from the 24-hour reception.Pollock Halls is just 1.5 miles from the city-centre and Waverley train station as well as many of Edinburgh's popular tourist attractions. It is also just 5 minutes' walk to Holyrood Park and Arthur's Seat an ideal location for walking with beautiful views over Edinburgh.

By BusFrom St. Andrews Bus Station a taxi to Pollock Halls will cost approximately £7 and takes 5-10 minutes. Alternatively proceed to Princes Street and on the shop side heading East take a bus to the Royal Commonwealth Pool Dalkeith Road (numbers 14 30 33 86 £1.30 exact change only). From here Pollock Halls is a short walk down Holyrood Park Road.By AirFrom Edinburgh Airport for 2 or more passengers we recommend a taxi for the 8 mile journey to Pollock Halls (cost approx. £17-20). Alternatively take the Airport Shuttle Bus to the city terminal on Waverley Bridge (Adult: £6 open return £3.50 single). From here take a taxi to the Pollock Halls (cost approx. £7 5-10 minute journey) or proceed to North Bridge and from the first bus stop heading south take a bus to the Royal Commonwealth Pool Dalkeith Road (numbers: 14 30 33 86).
