Set in the quiet village of Fen Drayton yet close to Cambridge and St Ives our delightful bright and modern self-contained Guest Lodge offers both space and comfort. We pride ourselves on our standard of cleanliness and have a 5 star (excellent) food hygiene rating. The lodge was originally built as a self contained office and gym but has recently been converted to a warm cosy and comfortable BandB lodge. It has a double bedroom as well as your own separate living room with sofa bed and kitchenette. The shower room has under-floor heating and a large walk-in shower with quality linen and all the toiletries and extra touches to make your stay complete. It has a television with DVD in both the living room and the bedroom and has free Wi Fi access ipod docking hairdryer iron ironing board board games and more! The guest house has thermostatically controlled radiators in both the lounge and bedroom and a fan is provided for hot weather. There is a small outside seating area specifically for the guest lodge. Our aim is flexibility to suit the many different needs of our guests - we offer a cooked breakfast for £8 per person with specials on offer every day or a superb continental breakfast for £4 per person.. Breakfast is delivered to your lodge where you can enjoy your own space but be well looked after! The price quoted for the room does not include breakfast. We are situated close to the beautiful Fen Drayton Lakes nature reserve which is well worth a visit even if you are here on business. It has around 12 miles of footpaths and walkways and 18 beautiful lakes which are inhabited by many species of birds and wildlife. The Lodge gives more versatility than you will find in the usual hotel bedroom. Dedicated parking is in the driveway in front of the lodge. Hotel directions :
From Cambridge:- Follow the A14 north towards Huntingdon. Take the Cambridge Services Swavesey exit and take the third exit at the roundabout to Swavesey. Drive into the village and take the first major left turn signposted Fen Drayton. Follow the road to the end and turn right at the T junction. Take the next left at the war memorial into Church St. From Huntingdon:- Follow the A14 south towards Cambridge . Take the 2nd Fenstanton exit signposted Dairy Site. At the T junction turn right and then immediately left running alongside the allotments. Just before you re-join the A14 turn left into Fen Drayton. Continue along this road round a sharp right hand bend and continue to the end of the road. Turn right at the T junction and left at the mini roundabout by the Three Tuns. Take the first right into Church Street at the war memorial. Thorn house is the third visible house on the left (one house is set back and can't be seen from the road.) Guest parking is at the front of the house but please avoid the furthest marked space as this is reserved for the resident of the annexe.
