Muddifords Court Country House bed and breakfast is set within the attractive Culm Valley close to the edge of the Blackdown Hills. A beautifully restored Georgian country house Muddifords Court is in an incredibly convenient but totally private rural setting within it's own 14 acres with lake near to the village of Halberton. The five well appointed bedrooms are spacious and stylishly furnished. Our guests can also enjoy the benefit of a private drawing room with antique furniture. We offer a choice of bedrooms including an antique tester bedroom with ensuite bathroom with Victorian claw footed bath and shower cubicle a cottage style double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with Victorian claw footed bath with large shower rose over a further twindouble bedroom with very large ensuite bathroom with Victorian claw footed bath and separate shower cubicle and a further lovely light twindouble bedroom with ensuite shower room. Our final bedroom is a wonderful suite comprising 4 poster bedroom dressing area and large bathroom in an Art Deco theme. All bedrooms have TV with Freeview Wi-Fi tea and coffee making facilities and complimentary toileteries decanters of sherry bathrobes and hairdryers. We can also offer a two bedroom cottage (villa) called The Roundhouse. It comprises a ground floor double bedroom with ensuite wet room with disabled access a first floor twin bedded room with ensuite bath with shower rose over. The property can be booked on a self catering basis or bed and breakfast. There is a large kitchen with dining area (fully equipped) a separate downstairs cloakroom and a large sitting room with seating area and table. Outside is a private walled Mediterranean style garden with seating. All linen and towels are included in the price.Please note we charge a 2.5% surcharge for payments made with credit cards.A selection of breakfasts are available from Full English at £8.00 per person to Continental style at £4.50 per person and everything else in between. Travelling South on the M5From junction 27 of the M5 (Tiverton exit) follow signs for the A361 towards Tiverton. Leave the North Devon Link road at the 1st exit approximately 500 yds from the motorway signed Sampford Peverell. Drive through Sampford Peverell to the next village Halberton about 2 miles. Shortly after entering Halberton turn left by The Barge pub sign posted to Willand. After approximately 1 mile take the first turning left signed Sampford Peverell and the drive to Muddifords Court can be found after 300 yards on the right.Travelling North on the M5From junction 28 of the M5 (Cullompton exit) turn left and go straight over the roundabout past the Weary Traveller pub. At the next roundabout take the 2nd exit (Millennium Way) signed to the B3181 and Willand. Proceed over two mini roundabouts until the next major roundabout. Take 2nd exit signed to Willand Diggerland and B3181 and continue along this road into Willand. At the Four Cross Ways roundabout take 1st exit. Continue along this road passing One Stop shop and going underneath the motorway and railway and through a small industrial estate. Proceed along this road for 0.6 of mile until you reach a white farmhouse on the right hand side. Directly after this house is a turning right signed Sampford Peverell. Take this turning and the drive Muddifords Court can be found 300 yards on the right.
