The Herring is our more sophisticated food offering with restaurant design that is as inspiring as the food.The rooms are light bright contemporary and simple to reflect the hotel's architecture and beachside setting. Large comfortable beds soft white towels armchairs to relax in and all the facilities you would expect to find in an AA four star hotel.The family-owned hotel is situated between Newquay and Padstow. Walking distance to Mawgan Porth beach and close to Merlin Golf Club and Driving Range.



Hotel directions :
Take M5 south to join A30 heading toward Bodmin. Continue on the A30 to the Highgate Hill roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted Newquay and Wadebridge. At the next roundabout take the 3rd exit signposted Wadebridge. At the next roundabout take the first exit following the signs for Newquay and the airport. You will pass a garage on your right take next right heading for Mawgan Porth. Go past the airport to the end of the road. At the T junction turn right. Follow the road down into Mawgan Porth up the hill and around a sharp left hand bend. The hotel is situated shortly after the bend on the left hand side.
