Great Ashley Farm is an award winning BandB with a tastefully renovated self catering barn conversion set in a beautiful part of Wiltshire just outside of Bradford-on-Avon and a stones throw from the World Heritage site of Bath. Great Ashley Farm is a working livestock farm and equestrian yard owned and run by The Rawlings Family and home to our herd of pure bred Sussex cattle. The farm is in a fantastic rural location situated just outside of the Saxon town of Bradford-on-Avon minutes away from the Kennet and Avon Canal and with the Cotswold area of outstanding natural beauty on our doorstep.World famous sites on our doorstepBath Longleat Stonehenge Castle Combe Glastonbury and England's smallest cathedral city Wells are all within easy reach. We are spoilt for choice with a myriad of National Trust properties close by The Courts at Holt Great Chalfield Manor Avebury Manor Lacock Abbey The Fox Talbot Museum and Village Prior Park Dyrham Park and Westwood Manor some of these are in neighboring villages. Great Ashley Farm is the perfect base for exploring touring or just relaxing and soaking up the lovely peaceful surroundings.At Great Ashley Farm we are delighted to offer a choice of either award winning BandB in our elegant farmhouse each room with it's own front door set in landscaped gardens and overlooking a large natural pond or self catering in our beautifully converted farm building situated on edge of Great Ashley Farm and reach by it's own private driveway off of a quiet country lane offering total independence. Both properties have achieved a rating of 4 with a Gold Award for exceptional service and quality.Our bedrooms have been individually styled and designed with your relaxation and comfort in mind. The peaceful setting delightful soft furnishingssuper kingsize beds fine furniture crisp white linen sumptuous duvets and superior mattresses encourage a restful night's sleep.Guests love to have their own private entrance to their guest rooms allowing them to come and go as they please. All the bedrooms are ensuite with power shower and quality toiletries. We can offer a combination of twin super kingsize double triple or single rooms On your well stocked hospitality tray there is a choice of Somersets T J Miles coffee hot chocolate and tea's we also supply bottled water and delicious biscuits. The rooms have delightful views across the rolling countryside and are well equipped with the facilities one would expect including complimentary Wi-Fi broadband access for those who bring their own PC. There is a ground floor room which is ideal for those who find stairs difficult.Rooms have extensive information wallets advising on places to eat along with places to visit. Tourist information is plentiful also.Delicious breakfast from local producersYou'll love our farmhouse breakfast. Not only has Helen been awarded The Enjoy England Breakfast Award but was also the winner of The Taste Of The West Silver Award for Wiltshire. Helen sources the very best local and regional produce and cooks it in a traditional English way on the AGA. There is a delicious breakfast menu with a wide variety of dishes. Special diets can always be catered for including Vegetarians and Coeliacs (offering a gluten free option) just let us know in advance where possible..We use our own farm fresh eggs meat from the Church Farm milk from the Jersey herd of cows at Ivy House Farm and preserves from Rose Farm Somerset. This is just a handful of the local producers that we are very proud to support.The local Hartley Farm shop is a stroll down the lane and sells fresh fruit and vegetables local meats and speciality cheeses it also has a coffee shop.Remember Breakfast like a king lunch like a prince and dinner like a pauper.For the third year running Great Ashley Farm are very proud to have been awarded the prestigious Gold Accolade from Visit Britain for Quality and Service to Guests Visit Britain Quality Assessor Stated The owners are to be commended for their attention to detail and enthusiasm in ensuring high standards for their guests.

Great Ashley Farm is less than 5 minutes drive from the historic town of Bradford-on-Avon and 15 minutes from the World Heritage city of of Bath. Within easy driving distance is Stonehenge Avebury Stone circle and numerous National Trust houses gardens and museums. And its just 25 minutes from Junction 18 of the M4 and within 2 hours drive of Heathrow aiport. In short the perfect base for your holiday.Directions from the M4:At Junction 18 take the A46 towards Bath. Follow the road for about 7 miles. At the end of the Dual-Carriageway take the A363 towards Bradford-on-Avon. Follow the road for approximately 3 miles You should see the Fox-and-Hounds pub on your right. Keep following the road for approximately 1 more mile. Take the turn right signed to Ashley just before the Cumberwell Park Golf Course. The road is a single-track road with passing places At the top of the lane you will reach a small crossroads - go straight over signposted towards Winsley.
