From A1 and the North enter York on the A59 when in the built up area of York Holmwood House is about 400 yards past the Fox Pub.Coming from the A1 South take the A64 towards York and Scarborough. From the A64 take the York West exit (A1036) and follow signs to the City Centre. Continue to City Centre for approx 1 mile(racecourse on your left)at the traffic lights signposted A59 Harrogate and Thirsk turn left. At the T junctionturn left over the Iron Bridge.
