This beautifully preserved Victorian mid terraced townhouse c.1855 situated a short walk from the visitor attractions fine restaurants and harbour. It is situated within the historic town of Whitby with it's famous Abbey and picturesque harbour. We invite you to sample our hospitality from a guest house that offers everything you and your family need for a happy and pleasurable holiday. Enjoy a traditional full English breakfast served in our unique 'Music themed' dining room by long standing musicians with a multitude of classic albums from across the eras (anyone who can claims to have them all gets an extra sausage!). We locally source our breakfast ingredients where possible.We have limited private parking at the front of the property for upto 4 cars with additional street and off street parking close by. We also have a garage to securely store bicycles for any of you that are hardy enough to tackle the moors or coast to coast or just enjoy making the most of our beautiful setting. Dogs are accepted (for a small fee) with prior arrangement. Early and late check ins can be arranged with prior notice.We do not claim to be the poshest or trendiest BandB in Whitby but we always aim to be the friendliest and strive to make your stay as great as we possibly can!
Hotel directions :
From the North take the A171 out of Guisbrough and follow the signs to Whitby. Keep following the road all the way folliowing the signs for the town centre.From the South West and South West follow the A64 from York then take the A169 from Malton through Pickering and then across the North Yorkshire Moors with stunning panoramic views. Stay on the 169 all the way down Blue Bank through Sleights and up the other side of the valley to a roundabout connecting you with the A171. Turn right and follow the signs to the town centre. From the South East (the East UK coast) follow the A171 coast road North from Scarborough. Stay on the road all the way into Whitby.Once in Whitby follow the signs to the town centre. At the fist set of traffic lights (from all routes into Whitby) bear left and Prospect Villa is situated on your right directly after the lights.If you are travelling by train or bus both stations are a short walk from the BandB we would be happy to collect you if you ring and arrange this with us prior to your arrival.
