Brae House is surrounded by beautiful Berwickshire countryside and is just a 10 minute drive from the A1 Berwick upon Tweed and Duns. Edinburgh and Newcastle 1 hour. An ideal location if you want to break your journey if you are travelling further north in Scotland or south.We offer a welcoming and relaxed stay in our home in this beautiful part of Scotland. Brae House has a 3 star grading from Visit Scotland. There are two double rooms and one twin room. All our rooms are large bright and spacious tastefully furnished - one double has an antique 4 poster bed and all three rooms have quality en-suites. Enjoy a lovely breakfast in our dining room overlooking the adjoining countryside. The area offers cultural attractions with castles country houses and gardens to visit along with beautiful scenery wildlife and other attractions for nature lovers. Close to the beautiful coastline at St Abbs Head and Coldingham. Holy Island is approximately 25 minutes drive. Perfect location for touring the Borders and Northumberland. Private parking. A1 FROM EDINBURGH - As you approach the big roundabout at Berwick upon Tweed carry on the A1 towards Newcastle MorrisonsMcDonalds will be on your left. Half mile beyond McDonalds you will come to a road sign on your right A6105 to Foulden ChirnsideDuns. Take this road for approx 4 miles and you come to the Scottish Border sign carry on for about 3 miles and you will see a sign for Edington on your right Brae House is just beyond this sign on the right. Entrance is on the slip road on the right. A1 FROM NEWCASTLE- keep on the A1 and as you approach Berwick you will see a sign on your left for the A6105 to Foulden Chirnside Duns. Follow directions as above.FROM DUNS - Take the A6105 to Berwick upon Tweed. When you pass Chirnside you will come to a sign one mile outside of Chirnside for Chirnside Hall Hotel on your left. Brae House is about half a mile beyond this sign on your left. Large white house with polytunnel in the garden.
